… from our kitchen to yours …

Sometimes a crisis hits, grieving, perhaps illness or the birth of a baby…  at these times cooking can become a burden. We have people in our church community who love to cook. They prepare simple meals and freeze them in preparation for such occasions to lend a helping hand and ease the burden of those in need. At other times, a roster may be set up to bring fresh meals in. Support like this is often provided through being a part of a Growth Group, yet Helping Hands seeks to ensure that even if you're not part of a Growth Group, your meal needs can still be met.

Helping Hand is there to support those in our church family cope in the short-term when providing a meal for themselves or their family is a necessity yet struggle to find the time or maybe the ability to make the meal. It's our way of helping ease the load and show Jesus' love in a very practical way. We are happy to cater for special dietary needs.

Please note that this ministry differs from the Donnison Street Ministry which supplies daily meals to the homeless and marginalised in Gosford.
