You may be in a time of crisis or simply needing someone to speak to…  we have a team of dedicated people who are happy to come alongside you at times when you would like someone to confidentially listen and pray with you. 

In times of uncertainty and difficulty, one of our team can be a supportive presence to help alleviate your pain, ease desperation and offer the opportunity to transform suffering into healing and growth.  The Pastoral Care Team and Prayer Team are a group of committed Christians who have a passion to offer support, love and acceptance for those in their care.  Their ministry responds Jesus’ command to love one another:

I give you a new commandment, that you love one another.
Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. John 13:34 (NRSV)

Whether it be a home visit, hospital visitation, meeting with you at your place of work, the NVBC office or maybe at a coffee shop, our team will endeavour to help provide confidentiality and appropriate support in your time of need.
