Ministry Highlight: Cru Day Camp
What an amazing first year of running a Holiday Day Camp at NVBC in partnership with Crusaders and St Philips Christian College!! Throughout this week we have seen our site transform into a activity wonderland and our campers have had the chance learn about God's wonderful Kingdom. The team of junior leaders have been AMAZING and there has been some great Gospel conversations and discussions taking place throughout the week, praise God!
Even as we send this newsletter around, the camp is still underway! Tonight we end by inviting all the families of our campers to come hear and see what they have been learning and doing together this week, before ending with a BBQ.
Equipped to Pray... for others
Have you ever had the opportunity to pray for someone's need and haven't been sure of what to do or how to pray? Does offering to pray right there and then for someone who has shared a health, relational, spiritual or mental challenge seem daunting to you?
Then we highly encourage you come along to Matt's workshop on Sunday where he will help give us the confidence to pray for and over someone in person! Matt will equip us to pray for others in a way where we are mindful of being in the presence of God, and seeking to be led by the Spirit with wisdom and understanding.
Please note the new time of 11:30am for Matt's workshop this Sunday. All are welcome.
Final days to sign up to The Gathering
We've said a lot that it's NOT TOO LATE to rego for our weekend away together (Oct 25-27)... but it nearly is! Rego through our website is closed, and any accommodation has to be booked directly with the site but we still don't want you to miss out! Speak to one of our pastoral team this weekend if you'd like to come along for a day trip or for the whole weekend.
We are also excited to announce that special guest Nic Cassar (senior pastor of Belair Baptist) will join us at The Gathering to share with us on the Sunday morning!
Nic is an all round good guy, passionate Jesus follower, family man and deep thinker who has some powerful and practical things to share about how we stay connected with Jesus in our fast-paced world.

Latest Finance
Thank you to all who continue to invest in and resource the ministry and missionaries that go out from NVBC! It is so appreciated.
Our latest year to date finances are attached and you will see that we are making some headway on catching up, but have a bit to go. Together let's close this gap and set ourselves up for an amazing 2025 at NVBC!
This Sunday
It's a special one this Sunday! Kingdom Kids is BACK for Term 4 and we have special guests Soul Survivor leading both our Services. Matt will speak in the AM and Matilda in the PM.
Focus Meeting
Sunday Oct 20
Join us for a special Focus Meeting. We will be bringing two recommendations: that Zach Bryant be called as Youth Pastor, and that Andy Miller be appointed to the Board.
The Gathering Sunday
If you're not able to make The Gathering weekend, we are still having a Sunday Service here at NVBC! We'll host one combined service at 9:30am with live worship, preaching and sharing in communion together.
