2025 Theme Verse

Join us in being excited for all the ways that God will lead, grow and stretch us as a community as we each pursue Him in 2025!

If you missed last Sunday, be sure to catch up on this year's theme verse and word! You can catch up (or revisit) Travis' message on our podcast or livestream.

Thank you to all who returned a 2025 Pursue Prayer card last Sunday. Wow, was it encouraging reading through them all during the week!! It seems that together we are hungry to pursue all that God has for each of us this year, to say the least!! If you took your card home during the week to prayerfully consider your pursue prayer, a quick reminder to bring them back this Sunday. If you missed the chance last week, do not worry that you'll miss out, as we'll have more cards available on Sunday.

Helping Hands - Making meals for those in need

Here at NVBC, we are a community that loves to support and care for one another in practical ways. One of the ways we do that is by making meals for those in need. Whether they've recently had a baby, have a family member in hospital, or are facing some other crisis, we'd love to be able to provide families with home-cooked meals. It doesn't need to be anything fancy - just make a double batch one night, and drop it off and bless someone in a time of need!

If this is something you could help us out with from time to time, Kylie Seal would love to be able to contact you with a MealTrain link. If you go to nvbc.info/helpinghands, you can sign up to be notified via email whenever a new MealTrain is set up. Click the link and join the crew!

News from Northern Thailand

We are very thankful for the $4086 given to our recent Christmas appeal. This was to help flood recovery of those affected by last year’s flooding in Chiang Mai, including Muana & Villy and the whole Baptist Mission Australia (BMA) team there.

Additionally, ZOE Thailand, which includes the Bible School we support, have some exciting news from last years floods. 11 new Christians were baptised in the floodwaters after coming to faith through interacting with Christians providing flood relief.

You can read more about Muana & Villy and their work with BMA in Northern Thailand here; and learn more about ZOE here. And if you missed giving to our Christmas appeal, you can give to BMA here.

Support The Valley Youth

The Valley Youth is one of the local community groups featured at Grill'd in Erina through the month of February. Each meal bought comes with a token to express your support for one of the groups featured, and each group will receive an associated donation towards their group's activities at the end of the month.

This is a great excuse to invite a few NVBCians out this Sunday for lunch or dinner after our services!!

Don't forget there's only 1 week left to rego for this year's epic BAMCAMP and we don't want to you to miss out! You can rego here. Sponsorships are available if cost is an issue.

Latest on Next Door

The taskforce investigating the possibilities around the sale of 151 Narara Valley Dr continue to do their due diligence. Recently they have engaged the services of a town planner to get a better understanding of the restrictions on next door and the potential uses of the site. Please keep praying for God's clear guidance, and if you discern anything as you are praying please do pass it on to any of our church leaders. Thank you.

This Sunday

Join us this Sunday as Travis begins our new series through Philippians.

We will also share in communion together.
