The Gathering Weekend

The Gathering weekend is here! Trailers are being packed ready to go and an early advance team has already made their way up. We are looking forward to welcoming many of you tomorrow afternoon/evening for a fabulous weekend of connecting and relaxing together. The program and all other information you need can be found at: https://www.nvbc.info/thegathering

If you are staying local this weekend, we look forward to worshipping together with many of you in person this Sunday at a 9:30am combined service (no PM Service this week). Travis will be sharing a final message in our Exodus (part 1) series and we'll celebrate communion together.

Focus Meeting Results

A big thank you to all who made last Sunday's Focus Meeting. We are thrilled to share that:

Zach Bryant was appointed as NVBC's next youth worker/pastor beginning January 2025!! Praise God for his leading throughout the search process and a big thank you to the team who diligently sought God's leading.

Zach and Josh Kay will continue to co-lead The Valley Youth until the end of the year.

The meeting also appointed Andy Miller to the Board, effective immediately.

Let us celebrate and give thanks for the gifts, calling and service of these two godly men, and pray blessing and protection over them and their fruitful service.

Next Teaching Series

The book of Acts opens with the disciples being filled with the Holy Spirit and being sent by the risen Jesus into the world to be his witnesses, his ambassadors. To be those who make known the Good News of Jesus among the people and places they are sent. Millenia has passed since, but the mission and ministry of the modern day disciples remains unchanged.

Next week we begin a mini-series 'The church in the world'. We will consider who we are in the world, what we are doing and how we are to act as ambassadors of Jesus.

Along with our pastors we will also welcome guest preachers Brett Robinson (Wyong Baptist), Charlotte Jorgenson (Erina Baptist) and Craig Stephens (Salvation Army) as a sign of unity and our shared mission to reach the Central Coast with the good news of Jesus.

This Sunday @NVBC
