• Do you find it difficult to worship God outside of church gatherings? Why/why not?

• What practical choices could you make this year to ensure that Christmas remains a time focused on worship?

Read Luke 2:8-20

• What is the role of worship in the Christmas story? What (if anything) is significant about that?

• What are some ways in which our contemporary celebration of Christmas moves us away from the kind of worship the shepherds experienced? What could we do to recapture their sense of wonder and gratitude?

End your time together in prayer. Pray prayers of worship, share your prayer requests, pray for each other, and pray specifically for God to develop a heart of worship in each person in your group.
